Reports

Oregon Water Futures has worked with communities across Oregon to understand how their relationship with their water is impacted by its quality, access, price, and more. The Oregon Water Futures team has published the following reports, learn more and download them below.

The Oregon Water Futures reports are the result of extensive grassroots community engagement spearheaded by the dedicated efforts of the Oregon Water Futures team. In 2020, Alai led the initiative by organizing and conducting over 60 interviews, connecting directly with community members to understand their relationship with water, its quality, access, and affordability. This process was built on trust and collaboration with local communities across Oregon, giving voice to their lived experiences.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the team had to quickly pivot their outreach strategies. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, they got creative with new ways to engage communities safely and effectively. By adapting their approach, Oregon Water Futures continued to collect hundreds of interviews, ensuring that diverse voices and perspectives were represented in their findings.

This commitment to inclusive and innovative engagement forms the backbone of the insights presented in these reports.
